LYNC 2013 FOR WINDOWS PHONE

Tasked with creating a mobile application to leverage Modern UX design principles, Shawna adapted the visual and interactive features of Lync desktop for the Windows Phone platform.

Familiar with Windows Phone design requirements, Shawna worked closely with Lync UX designers and developers to create visual specifications in the Modern style, advocating best-practice guidelines for typography, color, touch targets, visual feedback and transient UI. She delivered detailed redlines, and efficiently managed icon vendors to produce visual assets.

Shawna was also responsible for the visual designs of Lync for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, identifying key areas to integrate Lync brand with native OS as appropriate. First generation versions of the app were closely aligned with native app guidelines, until full customization was technically feasible.
